《交通建设与管理》是由中华人民共和国交通部主管，交通部科学研究院主办，国内外公开发行的一本融政策性、新闻性、权威性于一体，体现管理性、技术性、信息性等多重特征的国家级综合性专业期刊。
《交通建设与管理》坚持“以市场为导向、服务行业发展”的办刊方针，专注于国内外交通建设和管理市场的剖析及新技术、新材料、新设备、新工艺的宣传、推广；重点报道国内外交通建设、管理方面的有关方针政策；介绍国内外公路、水运交通的最新科技成果和发展动态；编译国内外公路水运交通建设和管理的最新文献。在报道方向上坚持交通设施建设与管理并重、市场需求与前瞻性分析并重，在报道内容上注重指导性、实用性、可读性，面向交通行业及与交通有关的各个领域，为政府与企业、企业与市场搭建交流与宣传的平台。

Introduction

Administered by Ministry of Communications, and managed by China Academy of Transportation Sciences, Construction and Management of Transportation was initiated in 1964 with its previous name of Waterway Transportation Digest and has come to its 42nd year. As a professional magazine released both home and abroad, it contains industry news and policies, and update market information and technologies as well, which grants it an authority position among professional media.

Approved by General Administration of Press and Publication of China, referring to Document [2006]780 of July 31,2006, Waterway Transportation Digest has officially changed its name to Construction and Management of Transportation. The magazine with the new name will stick to the principle of “domestically based, opening to the world, serving the industry, and contributing to the development”and the policy of“market-oriented and working for the industrial development”. It will focus on the analysis of both international and national construction and management market of transportation, and the promotion and publication of advanced technologies, materials and equipments. By editing and translating related articles, the magazine will put emphasis on reporting related policies of transportation construction and management, and the introduction of most advanced development or technical achievements in highway and waterway transport. The readable news reports and instructive analysis of the magazine will help to connect the government, companies and the market and serve to promote the market and technical level of transportation construction and management.
